Scope of Work:
As part of an upcoming update to our control panel software, Reseller accounts will now use port 2083 for all logins and account management activities.
Previously, Resellers would log in through port 2087 to manage client accounts. Following this update, Resellers will log in through 2083 and will be presented with the following options:
This change was implemented in response to a recently disclosed high severity security vulnerability which affected the CPanel platform. Thankfully we patched right away and didn't have impacts, but after reviewing the issue and deploying immediate protections for our customers, we and our control panel vendor determined that consolidating reseller access through port 2083 provides a more secure long term approach.
No changes are required to your reseller account credentials.
